Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Alex brings a genuinely international background. With family ties spanning Europe and the Caribbean, he grew up surrounded by different cultures, languages, and ways of thinking. Later raised in Canada, he also absorbed the values Canadians are known for—respect, openness, fairness, and a community-minded approach. Together, these influences shaped a flexible, observant, and relationship-focused outlook that continues to guide his professional approach today.
Much of his formative life was spent on the North Shore of Vancouver, where an active outdoor lifestyle—boating, camping, and skiing—was central to family life. After completing a diploma in Hospitality Business, he moved to Whistler, British Columbia, embracing a career that combined service excellence with a passion for the outdoors. While working at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, he gained hands-on experience across key hospitality departments, developing a strong operational foundation. His career progressed with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, leading to senior roles and international assignments across Costa Rica, Australia, Mexico, India, and Indonesia, followed by positions with Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in both Mexico and Dallas. Along this journey, he met his wife, started a family, and maintained strong ties to Mexico—eventually returning full circle, both personally and professionally.
His transition into real estate is driven by a desire to build something of his own—applying decades of discipline, leadership, and service excellence toward an entrepreneurial path where effort and integrity directly shape outcomes. Real estate represents a tangible way to create long-term value, independence, and stability for his family, while leveraging the same relationship-building, strategic thinking, and client-focused mindset that defined his success in global luxury hospitality.
